Hi all,
I was searching for 2 SSBand 2 SAI insignia and I found this forum.
I was called up in January 1977 to the Infantry, got to Wlavis Bay and then was pulled out and taken to D Squadron in Rooikop. Stayed with that unit until klaar-out in December 1978. Was sent to (civvi) Regeiment Molopo (based in Potchefstroom) and then transferred to Prince Alfred's Guards (based in Port Elizabeth).
